Welcome to IdeaBook!
When we decided to redesign the Bevans Group website,
one of our major goals was to resurrect the newsletter.
We constantly beat on our clients about launching and
maintaining electronic newsletters, but as is so often
the case, the cobbler's children had no shoes. Our own
newsletter succumbed the same pressing, everyday matters
that preoccupy our clients, like deadlines, accounts
receivable and lunch.
After changing the date on the same crusty old newsletter
for the third time, we decided it was time to take our
own advice. And here we are.
The launch of IdeaBook coincides with a complete overhaul
of the Bevans Group site, as well as two new trifold
brochures and a 6 foot rollup display. Less noticeably,
we have also clarified our message to reflect our increasing
marketing consulting and print design business.
This is a coming home of sorts for me, as I started
out as a marketing consultant and writer, then became
a print designer, and finally a web developer. Now that
we're no longer the new kid on the block, we believe
that the time is right to emphasize our comprehensive
approach to marketing, which informs every Bevans Group
project.
In closing, the inspiration for IdeaBook came from
the journals I used to keep in college - rough, unlined
pages where I could write in all directions with brightly
colored markers. I expect this IdeaBook will be more
organized than my old journals, but hopefully, the intelligence
that comes out of it will be as valuable, both to you
and to me.

Bethesda," but we all know it's really Rockville.
